I think that stuff is more attributable to a 2 party system full of rich people who are out of touch with the common person’s needs though. Like yeah, I voted blue in the last 4 elections and we wouldn’t be teetering on the edge of fascism right now if Kamala had won. But that just would have put it off 4 more years or until the next opp wins the next election. And no matter who is in charge they support the current late stage capitalist cycle that is the real cause of most of those things in the screenshot.
In the meantime, yeah, I’m not going to dial into a news cycle that is hellbent on profit over information and is designed to rage bait all of us into an early grave.

I don’t fault people for wanting to occassionally check out of it. Focusing on politics all the time is emotionally draining. But to be completely ignorant of it is dumb.
Awareness is key, but a break is good too. There is a balance, like in all things.
